Did you happen to notice the absence of the “Friday Four” last week? I decided to take a much-needed break from the bustling world of blogging to fully immerse myself in the Thanksgiving weekend. It was an incredibly refreshing pause, allowing me to truly relax and savor time with loved ones without the usual digital demands. Recharging my creative batteries was just what I needed, and I’m feeling energized and ready to dive back into sharing all things delicious and delightful with you.

Beyond the relaxation, the holiday spirit has officially taken over my home! I indulged in quite a bit of decorating – and by “a little,” I probably mean “a lot”! My Christmas tree is proudly standing, adorned with twinkling lights and cherished ornaments. The outdoor lights are strung, casting a warm, welcoming glow, and countless festive knick-knacks and holiday accents have transformed every corner of the house into a winter wonderland. It’s such a joy to bring this festive atmosphere to life, making the anticipation for Christmas even more palpable. The only thing I didn’t do much of was blogging, but I’m thrilled to be back and sharing my updates this week.

Weekend Anticipation: Stitch Fix & Hockey Excitement

My plans for the upcoming weekend are brimming with excitement! Sometime today, I’m eagerly awaiting a new Stitch Fix delivery. It’s been a little while since my last box; I took a short hiatus because I wasn’t entirely satisfied with some of the previous pieces. However, I’ve spent time meticulously updating my style profile, providing more specific feedback and preferences, so I’m incredibly optimistic that this upcoming “fix” will perfectly align with my updated taste. The thrill of receiving a curated box of potential new wardrobe staples is always exciting, and I’m definitely craving some fresh additions to my closet, especially with the holiday season in full swing. In other exciting news, I treated myself to an early Christmas present: the iPhone 6 Plus! The decision between the iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus was a delightful internal debate, but ultimately, the larger screen and enhanced features of the 6 Plus won me over. I absolutely adore the size of this phone; it truly feels like a pocket-sized powerhouse. In an interesting turn of events, this “upsizing” of my phone has actually led to a “downsizing” of other electronic devices. My beloved tablet now collects dust, as the iPhone 6 Plus beautifully handles all my mobile computing and media consumption needs. It’s a fantastic blend of convenience and capability, making my digital life much more streamlined.

To top off a fantastic week, tomorrow evening promises more excitement as we head to a Florida Panthers hockey game! It feels like ages since we last attended one – to be precise, about four years. The energy of live hockey is simply unmatched, and I’m really looking forward to soaking in the fast-paced action, the roar of the crowd, and the electrifying atmosphere of the arena. It’s going to be an absolute blast, and a perfect way to spend a Saturday night!
